Welcome to Garden Route Fire and Safety
Garden Route Fire and Safety was registered in 2022 to address the service need for Fire Protection and Safety in the Garden Route. Even though we are a newly registered company, our Directors have a combined 61 years experience in Fire related fields. Our main focus will be on Supply, Installation, Design and Commissioning of all Fire Detection Systems as required by the client.
We do Risk Assessments for free in the Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Sedgefield area, outside these areas the Assessments will also be offered for free, but the client will be held liable for traveling costs.
No project is to small or big for us and because we pride ourselves on quality of workmanship and client service , we are only a phone call away for free advice.
About our Directors
With 11 years experience in the Nelson Mandela Metropole as a Fire Officer where he gained valuable experience in the fields of Fire Technology, Training, Fire Behavior, Fire Prevention and Fire Extinguishment. The next year's were spent in the Fire Detection, Protection and Safety fields. He has a total of over 34 years of experience in Fire Engineering areas of expertise

over 27 years’ experience in fire prevention- and suppression systems, and the underpinning infrastructure such as access control, perimeter security, CCTV surveillance, server room/datacenter construction and structured cabling.
Brendon grew up in a Fire Engineering family that started with his grandfather, his Father followed suit in the Fire Engineering Field, and from a young age Brendon was exposed to Fire Engineering, so it was a natural choice for him to follow in the steps of his Father and Grandfather.
He holds a number of Industry related certifications, including:
